Mattia Palma
Mattia Palma is a graduate physicist, journalist, music critic and dramaturge. He is the editorial coordinator of Rivista della Scala and collaborates with several Italian newspapers, focusing mainly on the history and criticism of opera direction.
As a dramaturge, he collaborates with the directors Damiano Michieletto and Gianluca Falaschi.
He has a regular collaboration with the Museo Teatrale alla Scala, for which he organised the digital exhibition Caruso, Corelli, Di Stefano. Miti del canto italiano (2021), as well as the catalogues and documentation of the exhibitions on Maria Callas, Giorgio Strehler, Franco Zeffirelli, Gioachino Rossini and the history of La Scala.
He edited the memoirs of the director and set designer Pier Luigi Pizzi, Non si può mai stare tranquilli, published by EDT.
His published texts include Dizionario minimo del gesto. Corpo, movimento, comunità nella danza di Virgilio Sieni. (Published by the Fondazione Feltrinelli)
