Jonathan Stockhammer
Born in Los Angeles and living in Berlin for many years, Jonathan Stockhammer's motivation is to understand music in its universality. As an internationally sought-after artist, Jonathan Stockhammer conducts renowned orchestras and ensembles: the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra London, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ensemble Modern, the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.
Opera also plays a central role in Jonathan Stockhammer's career. He is a regular guest at the Opéra National de Lyon and the Zurich Opera House, the Basel Theatre, the New York City Opera, the Vienna State Opera and the Komische Oper Berlin.
