In this project, the Komische Oper Berlin is working with children from welcome classes at primary schools in Berlin. Over the course of a school term, we playfully explore the concert piece Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev. Children who have recently arrived in Germany also learn the German language in an imaginative way through music. The highlight of the project is the bilingual performance (German/Arabic; German/Ukrainian) of Peter and the Wolf. A moving concert experience to which the children of the welcome classes are invited together with their parents and the whole school.
