Daniel Andrés Eberhard
Daniel Andrés Eberhard studied musicology and business administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He gained his first experience in opera dramaturgy during his studies at the Staatsoper Berlin and the Komische Oper Berlin.
He also worked as a reviewer for the website klassik.com from 2014-2022. His professional career began in 2021 in the dramaturgy department of the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele, where he significantly supported the digital transformation of the festival and established his own video introduction formats.
Most recently, he worked as an opera dramaturge at the Dortmund Theatre from 2022-2024. He worked with directors such as Martin G. Berger (Nixon in China), Nikolaus Habjan (Die Zauberflöte and Orpheus in der Unterwelt), Emily Hehl (German premiere of La Montagne Noire) and Cordula Däuper (world premiere of Die Reise zu Planet 9).
He has been a dramaturge at the Komische Oper Berlin since the 2024/25 season.
