Katrin Kath-Bösel
Katrin Kath studied costume and fashion design at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
She has been working as a freelance costume designer for film, theatre and events since 1994. In 2002, she joined the Komische Oper Berlin as assistant to the costume director and took over as head of the department in 2008. During Barrie Kosky's directorship, she designed the costumes for Petrushka/L'Enfant et les Sortilèges, Märchen im Grand-Hotel, Marinka, Triple-Sec and Blue-Monday, among others.

She has also designed costumes for the Nordhausen Theatre (Turandot, Les Contes d'Hoffmann, etc.) and the Cottbus State Theatre (Otello). Together with her husband, she develops customised stage and costume designs under the label ‘Workshop of Wonders’ and regularly designs the costumes for the Potsdamer Schlössernacht.
