Swelling orchestra music, and then a singing that radiates over everything, enchanting and uniting the entire house. But what happens when this scene leaves the opera house behind and invades the street? When it suddenly takes over a boxing gym? When Dio Giovanni sings out his aria in a busy market hall, and the men’s chorus from Rigoletto breaks the silence of the university library? Our pop-up performances make opera into a serendipitous experience, not only for people all over town but also as a happy discovery to be shared and repeatedly enjoyed on our YouTube channel @KomischeOperBerlin.
