A symphony concert with moves
Dancing Shoes
Symphony Concert
Rhythms you can’t resist! The orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin, conducted by Erina Yashima, is devoting one special evening entirely to a repertoire that goes straight to your feet: dance music!
Music of the highest calibre will fall like pennies, with the tango nuevo sounds of Astor Piazzolla, the melodies of Leonard Bernstein, and the rhythms of Arturo Márquez: a night to set the dance floor on fire! For this special progam, you have a choice of two different venues: one is the tent by the Rotes Rathaus, and the other is the Ernst-Reuter-Saal in Reinickendorf. So you can decide how you’d prefer to enjoy the music: more casually with room to swing your hips, or more traditionally in a focused concert-hall setting. But no matter where or how, the rhythm’s gonna get ya!
