As a result of the cancellation of the production My friend Bunbury in the tent at Rotes Rathaus planned for June 2025, the chamber concert Manege frei! scheduled for June 1 must now also be canceled.
Due to considerable cutbacks and the associated austerity measures in the current Berlin budget, Komische Oper Berlin has been forced to cancel all performances planned for June 2025 in the tent at Rotes Rathaus. The savings of almost 4 million euros in the 2025 budget unfortunately do not allow the realization of the new production and the construction of the outdoor venue »Zelt am Roten Rathaus«.

With our chamber concert series, the musicians of the Komische Oper Berlin are presenting intense listening experiences at very special locations: from the festive elegance of the Schiller Theatre to the monumental expanse of the old hangar at Tempelhof Airport, and from uncharted soundscapes at the Kindl site to magical evenings in the big tent.
