The actress and trained musician Anke Retzlaff, celebrated by cinema, television and theater alike, is once again making her way through the thicket of audience voices after her fast-paced dream performance “Dream Machine” (2021). The theme? The most primal of all experiences that connects us all: birth - the most intensely intimate and at the same time most socially monitored moment of life. The pregnant body becomes a dance floor for doctors, the pharmaceutical, food and advertising industries.
