Stephie Braun

Kathrin K. Liess studied German and English language and literature in Graz as well as at the University of Bristol, England. She works as an author, production manager, editor and translator. She has translated plays for the Schauspielhaus Graz, the Staatstheater Mainz and the Ruhrtriennale, among others. She has given readings at the Literaturhaus Graz, the Forum Stadtpark and the Lettrétage Berlin, among others. Together with the authors' collective »Die Plattform«, she develops radio plays, audio walks and multimedia reading formats. Liess mainly writes for the theatre; her plays have premiered at the Staatstheater Mainz and the Staatstheater Kassel and have been invited to numerous festivals. Kathrin K. Liess works as production manager for »peaches&rooster«, the theatre company of Jan-Christoph Gockel and Michael Pietsch.
