Dagmar Barbara Fiebach

Dagmar Barbara Fiebach was born in Neubrandenburg in 1969 and studied singing and correpetition at the »Hanns Eisler« School of Music in Berlin from 1985 to 1995 with Bernd Casper and Wolfram Rieger, among others.
During her studies, she worked with both pianists and singers, gave recitals and concerts, played in various chamber music ensembles and was active as a harpsichordist in chamber orchestras.

In 2002, Dagmar Barbara Fiebach took over the direction of the then renowned Clara Schumann Children's and Youth Choir in Berlin, which won prizes at national and international choir competitions under her direction. A vocal ensemble made up of members of this choir won first prize at the national »Jugend musiziert « competition in Fürth in 2007.

In September 2008, Dagmar Barbara Fiebach took over the direction of the newly founded children's choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and led it successfully for four years.
Since 2012, Dagmar Barbara Fiebach has been the artistic and organizational director of the children's choir of the Komische Oper Berlin, with whom she has since rehearsed all children's choir parts and children's solo roles in children's operas and operas.
