Anne van de Wetering

Ari Versluis

Anne van de Wetering is a dramaturge, writer and programmer. After a whimsical route along a motley collection of studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, her life questions regarding existing power structures, love for Rihanna and whether science fiction can save the world are explored in a variety of activities. She worked as an editor for Oerol and IFFR; as a programmer for the literature festival Tilt; as a writer for Vice, Theatermaker and Parool. Anne is currently the house dramaturge of the music and performance collective CLUB GEWALT for which she wrote her first libretto in 2021: Anthropocene, the musical. And, oh yes, Anne has now also picked up studying for her law degree and lives with her cat Stauffie in Rotterdam.
